Bathroom renovation in a Neo-Tudor home

Hitting the brief

The property is a grand building and the chosen products needed to reflect the rest of the home. To hit the brief, Bathroom Village utilised Bayswater’s full product portfolio to bring harmony to the room.

There are two focal points in the bathroom which complement each other, add balance and also bring the modern classic bathroom to life.

The first feature is an eye-catching freestanding roll-top bath with cast iron feet. Complementing this bath is a traditional deck mounted bath shower mixer in chrome.

On a second wall is a Bayswater vanity unit which has been chosen in classic pointing white and chrome taps, tying in the brassware across the room.

Adding a modern twist, is Bathroom Village’s take on a traditional black and white chequered floor. Matt marble tiles soften the look to create a relaxing environment.

FAVOURITE FEATURE

The simple yet effective traditional style injection by opting for a three-hole basin mixer tap. It helps to create even more of a feature of the vanity cabinet.

UNUSUAL FEATURE

We wanted to tell a story about the building’s history through the two picture walls. By choosing half-height tiles, it provided the same to do this while still being practical.

TOP TOP

Look at how a difficult to use space, such as an alcove, can be transformed into a shower enclosure. Being able to add a separate shower enclosure adds an extra level of luxury to the bathroom, as well being a feature many people prefer.
